NIIT Foundation Named Among India's Top 25 NGOs to Work For in 2026
NIIT Foundation has secured a place among India's Top 25 NGOs to Work For 2026. Its latest recognition follows a third consecutive Great Place To Work certification, backed by an employee Trust Index Score of 86%.
The not-for-profit organisation, which works to advance financial and digital literacy among underserved communities, has continued to strengthen its people-first approach, recognising the role of an engaged workforce in driving sustainable change across communities in India.
The recognition follows NIIT Foundation's re-certification as a Great Place To Work for the June 2026–June 2027 period. This marks the organisation's third consecutive year of receiving the certification and reflects its continued efforts to establish a workplace based on trust, collaboration and professional growth.
The latest certification is based on an independent assessment of employee experience and workplace culture. NIIT Foundation recorded an overall Trust Index Score of 86%, with 458 employees participating in the survey. Employees acknowledged the organisation's focus on professional development, fair and inclusive management practices, workplace safety and a welcoming environment for new team members.
The findings reflect the organisation's efforts to create a workplace where employees feel valued, supported and connected to a broader social purpose.
Alongside its workplace initiatives, NIIT Foundation continues to address gaps in financial awareness and digital access through its financial and digital literacy programmes. These initiatives equip individuals with the knowledge and skills required to access digital services, understand financial products, make informed financial decisions and participate more confidently in the digital economy.
The organisation also works across education, skilling and employability, with initiatives aimed at creating pathways towards greater economic independence for underserved populations.
The scale of its initiatives is reflected in its FY2024–25 achievements. During the financial year, NIIT Foundation certified more than 2 million beneficiaries, while over 80,000 young people received job offers through its skilling and employability initiatives. With a cumulative impact covering over 11 million lives, the organisation continues to expand opportunities for underserved communities through education, financial empowerment and digital inclusion.
Sapna Moudgil, CEO of NIIT Foundation, said, “Being recognised among India's Top 25 NGOs to Work For is a proud moment for NIIT Foundation and a reflection of the workplace culture we have built together. Our people are central to everything we do, and this recognition acknowledges their commitment, sense of ownership and dedication to our mission. We remain focused on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where employees can grow professionally while making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.”
NIIT Foundation employees, known as "NFLuencers", contribute to the organisation's mission across community centres, classrooms, field locations and support functions. Through an emphasis on ownership, continuous learning and collaboration, the organisation has developed a workplace where professional growth and community development go hand in hand.
India's Top 25 NGOs to Work For are identified through Great Place To Work Institute India's assessment process, which evaluates employee experiences and organisational culture through the Trust Index and Culture Audit. The selection is based on employee feedback and the quality of workplace practices, without individual or jury intervention. The final list is published in alphabetical order.
